1. Optimize Space:
Automated Parking uses half the real estate than conventional ramped garages. With some systems (tower model) you can park fifty vehicles or more in the space of only four.

2. Convenience:
Fast, easy, and secure. Just pull up on ground level entrance bay, either punch in PIN #, vehicle plate, or insert magnetic card (depending on design chosen). Your vehicle will be then be taken automatically to a suitable slot for storage, via pallet or pallet less (robotic) design. When you want to retrieve your vehicle, simply enter your information and the car will be returned to you within 1-2 minutes. The vehicle will also be rotated for you via turntable mechanism, so you can drive straight out.

3. Security:
Since no one enters the garage other than vehicles, it virtually eliminates vandalism, dents, scratches, or theft. There is also no personal danger of having to walk down dark aisles while looking for your car.

4. Environmentally Friendly:
Less pollution, no exhaust fumes driving up and down aisles and ramps looking for a spot. This will also decrease the cost of having to install extra ventilation and lighting.

5. Price Competitiveness:
Generally, parking structures with ramps cost anywhere from $15,000-$20,000 per space. With automated parking you obtain more spaces for the land value. Garage owner’s liability insurance will decrease as well since there are no valet parkers.

6. Proven Technology:
Mechanical and Automated parking systems are not new. Systems have been around since the early 1950’s, with even a few systems that were constructed in America and still operational to this day. It has been widely at use in Europe and Asia where land is at a premium. There are over 5000 systems in operation worldwide. Only recently has the United States been studying this technology to solve the ever increasing problems of parking in urban areas.
